Iryna Ilyasova

Medical Director

Medical Director

Dr. Ilyasova graduated from medical school in Ukraine and completed her residency training at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn and Northwell Health Mather Hospital. After residency, she practiced as a primary care physician and hospitalist with the Northwell Mather Group and Mather Hospital. Two years ago, she also completed a Clinical Leadership Fellowship at Northwell Health, which gave her an opportunity to further develop her leadership skills and gain a broader perspective on healthcare and physician leadership. Throughout her career, she has been fortunate to combine patient care with leadership, collaboration, and mentorship. What she loves most about her role as a Medical Director is the opportunity to make a difference beyond the care of one individual patient. She enjoys supporting physicians and the healthcare team, helping solve complex problems, and finding ways to improve communication, collaboration, and patient care. In her spare time, Dr. Ilyasova enjoys participating in medical missions each year, which she finds very meaningful and rewarding. She also loves traveling and exploring new places. To stay active and maintain balance, the Doctor enjoys jogging and kickboxing. These activities help her recharge and stay energized both personally and professionally.
